Meet Michael

Michael joined our Marketing Team as an apprentice but soon started to take on more responsibilities and get involved in a number of design projects.  He is now one of our Design Executives where he produces innovative designs for both his colleagues and our employer partners.

Lifetime is great place to work. With everyone determined to be successful it means everyone is heading in the same direction

I wanted to start my career at a well-established company and Lifetime is exactly that. It has big name employer partners which shows how successful it is and is going to be in years to come.

The ambition. Everyone in every department works together to improve and everyone wants to play their own part in Lifetime’s success story.

I joined Lifetime as a Marketing Apprentice but after a few months I began to take more of an interest in the design element of the team. After carrying out small design tasks here and there it developed into something I wanted to do on a regular basis. Once I completed my apprenticeship in Business Administration Level 2, I was offered a full-time role as a Junior Design Executive and quickly moved oon to a Design Executive role.

When I started at Lifetime I didn’t have any design experience and the software was completely new to me. It was difficult at first to learn the shortcuts and the best way to do things from a design perspective. However, after design training with different members of the team and a lot of time practicing I could pick up the skills I needed to become a designer.

Lifetime depends on the design team for almost all their marketing and being part of the design allows me to play a big role in how Lifetime sells itself to existing and potential employer partners.

Hard work and the determination to make it work. At Lifetime, everyone wants to do well, not only for themselves but for their team and the business. Everyone puts in a lot of effort every day to make the best of every situation, even if it doesn’t go to plan it just means we’ve learnt for the next time.

Getting positive feedback on the work I do is something that makes me feel good about the effort I put in. It shows that the time I’ve spent has paid off, and it’s been appreciated.

Lifetime is great place to work, with everyone determined to be successful it means everyone is heading in the same direction. Everyone is friendly and are willing to help when they can.

It is a place that wants to succeed from top to bottom. When you join Lifetime you can tell that it’s only going to get bigger and better in the years to come. It’s a very professional workplace, however everyone is up for a laugh, joke and a drink when the opportunity arises.

They know that they are only as big as their employees and that without them the business wouldn’t be doing as well as it is. Lifetime tries to ensure that employees are happy and if they aren’t they want to know why so they can fix the problem, I don’t think a lot of businesses work in the same way.

If you’re willing to work hard and want to be successful, then Lifetime is a great place to be.
