Having joined us as an apprentice, Charlotte is a real reflection of what Lifetime is all about. Having worked her way through her apprenticeship she now coordinates marketing campaigns and manages our internal CRM system. Charlotte relaxes by watching her favourite film The Shawshank Redemption.
Senior members encourage members of staff to go above and beyond their capabilities to help them to progress.
Before working at Lifetime, I was studying for my A Levels at my local school. After deciding an apprenticeship would be a better choice, I started to research employers which were both recommended for their apprenticeships, and the company itself. The main attraction to Lifetime Training was due to trusting the company to deliver what the business offered to customers.
The best thing about working with Lifetime is the progression opportunities available. Senior members truly recognise the skills that all employees have and encourage members of staff to go above and beyond their capabilities to help them to progress.
I carry out a wide range of tasks during a regular day. This will be a mixture of sending all marketing email campaigns for our business, training and supporting the vast majority of the areas of the business on our CRM system, and also working closely with our internal and external IT departments to continuously improve our ways of working. It is great to be able to work with a wide variety of members of staff, and to also be recognised to deliver a wide variety of projects.
I started as a Marketing Apprentice at Lifetime. After completing the apprenticeship a year after starting, I had the opportunity to go into a Customer Acquisition Assistant role, which led to covering my Customer Acquisition Manager whilst they were on maternity leave. This then allowed me to progress into my current role, which is CRM Executive.
My biggest achievement at Lifetime so far would be becoming Lifetime’s CRM Executive. It was a brand new role that Lifetime had not previously had. This has enabled me to grow my skills, knowledge and network whilst at Lifetime.
A challenge that I have had would be supporting with the development within our Microsoft Dynamics CRM system. As this role was new to Lifetime, I rapidly improved my knowledge and skills to support this area of the business. I have managed to overcome this challenge by working closely with our IT department, and understanding how all business processes work.
My role contributes to the success of Lifetime by sending all B2B and B2C email campaigns to generate more business opportunities. I also contribute to the success to ensure our CRM system is fully utilised and supports all business processes for reporting and measuring success.
