Meet Theo

Theo came to Lifetime with a background in recruitment which made him ideal for one of our Senior Apprentice Recruitment Coordinator roles. On a daily basis Theo focuses on working with our employer partners to understand their vacancies and business needs in order to find suitable apprentices to fill their roles. This kind of recruitment really appeals to Theo who likes the fact he has ‘the opportunity to help young people enter employment’. If Theo was hosting a celebrity dinner party he would invite Floyd Mayweather, Steven Gerrard, Jay-Z and Jeremy Corbyn.

Lifetime has a relaxed atmosphere that allows you to work freely and has numerous opportunities to progress

I was intrigued at the fact I had the ability and the opportunity to help young people gain a qualification and enter the first step to obtaining a career, whilst working with like-minded, career driven people.

After working in recruitment before, I liked the fact that there is a relaxed atmosphere here, this allows you to work freely, as well as providing numerous opportunities to progress with multiple roles. I value the Evolve conversations which enables employees and managers to discuss what’s best for both parties and work towards achieving those goals. Lastly I like the fact I have the opportunity to help young people enter employment.

A normal day will consist of liaising with employer partners to understand their needs and requirements and engaging with candidates to prepare them for interviews, first days and offer them opportunities of apprenticeships in their local area.

I am currently in the Apprentice Recruitment department and have recently been promoted to a Senior Apprenticeship Coordinator.

By supplying our employer partner with exceptional apprentices I am able to drive business and deliver quality service.

Seeking advice when needed and taking note of this advice, working hard, enjoying what you do and remaining focused.

My biggest achievements externally have been being nominated for Most Valuable Person three times and being promoted to Senior Coordinator

Having to adjust to the different changes in structures. But I have overcome this by seeking advice from more experienced colleagues, doing more research on the specific topic and building strategies to create better working methods

If you’re career driven and motivated then it’s a great place for you. With multiple roles becoming available on a regular basis and supportive staff, managers and like-minded people working alongside you, it is a real vehicle for success.

You are encouraged at Lifetime by having a monthly award Most Valuable Person award and the annual SPIRIT which showcase the people in the business who are performing well and demonstrating our DNA behaviours.

With monthly targets and being surrounded by ambitious individuals the culture is motivating, uplifting and passionate about achieving targets and delivering a great service.

If you are someone who is career driven, focused, wants to work with like-minded people and have the opportunity to progress then Lifetime is the place for you.
