Meet Rosanna

Rosanna play a pivotal role within our Quality Team. An expert in our regulatory and safeguarding requirements, Rosanna works tirelessly to ensure that our people are trained to deliver not only exceptional learning but that we are working within strict guidelines and regulations. Rosanna is also a part time Fitness Instructor, achieving her Personal Training qualification through one of Lifetime’s self-funded courses. She is now undertaking her assessor qualification through Lifetime so is not only one of our Life Changing People but has been one our learners as well, which gives her a unique insight into the business.

I had heard of Lifetime and was recommended by a friend, having trained as a Fitness Instructor through Lifetime two years prior to applying for a role. The company culture and the things I had heard about the way Lifetime support and grow you was a big attraction. Having only ever worked for small independent companies, I felt Lifetime was the kind of organisation that could help develop me a career. Having been a Lifetime learner myself, I wanted to a role that would lead me into a future where I can impact learners getting into a job in an industry/sector I am passionate about – Fitness. Both my roles within the company to date has given me a wealth of experience to see how our business support functions and delivery teams work every day to achieve our goals and provide the best apprenticeships available.

The Culture. Its supportive environment, collaboration and common cause, the energy, the people!

I support onboarding bookings of accommodation, coordinate training venues, raise product orders, process invoices, manage observation of the teaching and learning matrix, send out observation and reports and surveys, register staff for health and safety training, run reports for training and CPD, analyse Survey Monkey feedback, support safeguarding inbox and field concerns, version control and format documents, log H&S/ Prevent/ Safeguarding training and support in fielding learner complaints.

I also conduct meeting preperation such venue booking, agenda-writing, minute-taking and circulation post-event, field new starter queries, support and administration duties for the Quality Director, H&S & Standards Manager, National Quality Manager, Teaching and Training Manager and the National Accreditation Manager, book Quality team members onto training events, monitor sector Newsbeat (our monthly newsletter) comments, H&S resource usage and upload E&D banners onto our learner communication portal Pink FUSE. 

When I joined Lifetime I was a Pre-Employment Traineeships Support Coordinator / part-time Fitness Instructor. I recently achieved my Personal Training Diploma through Lifetime’s Commercial Training dept.

I then moved over to undertake the role of Quality Administrator whilst still being a part-time Fitness Instructor. I am also achieved my assessor qualification through Lifetime

Ensuring and coordinating the completion of Prevent Duty and Safeguarding training for the whole business. Followed by closing down outstanding H&S mandatory training, malpractice CPD and business-wide driver risk assessments.

Quality assurance underpins the whole business from compliance, curriculum, teaching and learning to operational processes and programme delivery. Supporting quality assurance and maintaining standards of practice directly influences Lifetime’s success and reputation as a provider by means of Ofsted inspection grading and other external audits.

Demonstrating our DNA behaviors and encouraging positive behaviors and working practices in others. Being a team player and having a desire to improve processes and practice, as well as caring for what you do for all that you do.

I have learnt so much from working alongside the teams in Head Office and the managers I support, but equally I have taught and shared better practices/processes with those colleagues.


The Quality team is a particularly supportive and close team, for which I feel very grateful to be part of. The very nature of quality assurance breeds a group of people who care, who are passionate about doing a great job, improving learner and employer wellbeing, quality of learning, training and working practices. We share the load when others need it and vice versa. It’s a family.

No matter how much pressure people are under, it’s always an enjoyable environment. It makes work and more tedious days fun! People are open, friendly and the collaboration between departments which creates a real sense of one large family.

Everyone seems willing to help each other out, to solve problems and share knowledge. The senior management also set a precedent where they are ‘human’ and approachable, yet command and show equal respect whatever your position.
